Often we encounter terms such as RRS Reader and Channel. What do these terms mean? Let us become acquainted with them.

RRS (Really Simple Syndication) feed RRS

RRS is related to the XML format and is generally used to read news on web pages. RRS form occurs in several versions, is the most popular RSS 0.91 and RSS 2.0. Originally, this format was used only for the actual transmission of news among servers so that they can easily refer to the actual articles on other servers. RSS content format provides the whole article, or. part, a reference to the original article and other metadata. This information is sent as an XML file called RSS feed, web feed, RSS stream, or RSS RSS channel.
RSS Feed
If you want to work with RRS feeds, we have the appropriate software for them. This software called RSS reader. RSS reader can be in several versions as a separate program, plug in another program, or an RSS reader can be implemented as a web application. If a website offers RSS feeds, it usually indicates an icon that leads directly to the URL of the resource that the user enters into the reader and then display a list of all such articles made available (or other references). Reader then periodically checks that URL and displays the new items.

FeedDemon
One of the popular RSS readers. The big advantage is that this reader is free. You can find all the basic important functions such as synchronization with Google Leader, the manual input of resources, user interface is standard on what we're used similar programs.
FeedReader
Clear and simple reader. The user interface is similar to FeedDemon, ie. left we see the list of ingredients which can be manipulated and the right have a web browser. The advantage of this reader is that it can be in Czech and free again.
RSSOwl
For the reader's benefit that is supported by all major operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS). The advantages include a simple user interface and low hardware requirements.
